Yesterday - Hillary, Barack, and John

I missed posting yesterday.  Had a project to finish.  One headline caught my eye and I would have posted, except I ran out of time.  That was Hillary Clinton's win in PA.  So she's not giving up.  No big surprise there.  But there's an interesting thing going on, and it has happened before.  While she and Barack Obama fight it out, making each other look petty, digging up dirt, using up campaign funds, and generally splitting the Democrats in two, John McCain is left to his own devices.  And since he's not engaged in a no-win situation he's able to look more presidential than the other two.

Win or bust: Hillary Clinton risks all on one last throw of the dice

Guess you don't have to divide and conquer when your competition is more than happy to divide itself.

On a side note, have you noticed how everyone refers to them as Hillary and Obama?  Hillary's first name and Barack's last.  I wonder why.  Is it because of their gender?  We do tend to call men by their last names.  Or is it because when you say Clinton you think of Bill?

And just in case you're wondering, I personally don't support any of them.  I think they're all a bunch of clowns.

They call Hillary by her

They call Hillary by her first name to differentiate her from her husband, the former president.  Even all of her campaign stuffs post only "Hillary". http://www.hillaryclinton.com/I don't think you're paying attention well enough to this whole election dynamic.  Yes, there are clowns at play, but it isn't everyone involved.

Ah, well, I'm probably not

Ah, well, I'm probably not paying enough attention.  But that's just because it's so unbearably pathetic I can't stand to follow much of it.  And then I can't see that it matters which one makes it into office since it's not like there's a really stand-out candidate.  So, yeah, it's hard to get worked up about it.  But they are good for some level of amusement.  Occasionally.
