The news organizations like to give the impression that Obama is inevitable. It's good to remember that polls are just that, polls. The only thing that matters is the vote on election day. And winning over a bunch of newspeople is not quite the same as winning the election. Although, it certainly doesn't hurt to have reporters out there spinning things for you.
Not that I particularly care one way or the other as I find both McCain and Obama completely uninspiring. Probably because I was raised by a con-man and can't help but have my con-man radar go off whenever I listen to Obama. And McCain is just weird. They are good for a laugh sometimes, but not inspiring. I mean, seriously, they're politicians. People who get too worked up over them need to have their heads examined. Politicians will say anything to get elected. Read my lips and call me cynical.
